Directions For Use
All joints must be sealed with this product should be clean, dry and free from any filth, debris, rusting, scale, grease or any protective lacquer. The expansion joint fill material would be be tightly packed in its place so that a clear-cut joint depth can be made in accordance with the joint design available. As a thumb rule level of joint is interpreted as half of its width and the depth is not lower than 6 mm. A cello tape or bond-breaking tape is set on the joint fill board so as to obviate direct contact between Board and Perma Polyseal. Employ masking tape on upper surface on either side of the joint so that staining of neighboring area can be avoided.
If the broadsides of the joints are irregular and permeable, use Polysulphide primer that is a double component material. Blend the two components thoroughly and then brush apply on the different sides of the joint. When the primer develops as a tack free product, apply this product in the joints.
Move the total contents of the little curing agent pack to the large pack of the base and then blend soundly for five minutes via the utilization of electric drill featured with blades. The blending work can also be done manually till a paste of uniform consistency comes out.
Pour down the blended Perma Polyseal in the joints. Finish the joints by making use of round spatula or kindred object so as to generate a smooth surface. The activity will also result in removal of any air that might have got deluded during the process of mixing. It is recommended to finish the surface slightly concavely so as to make the sealant immune to heavy trolley movements.
